Repair/Modification Services

• Farace RV & Automotive Repair, Huntington Beach, CA
  • Pros: Hung the door, fixed tail lights, repacked wheel bearings, replaced electric brakes, replaced tongue jack with wheel
  • Cons: very busy with Class C coaches. Didn’t have some parts available for the repair (but was easy to pick them up from Lowe’s). Oddly they installed two identical rolling tongue jacks. I didn’t have time to have them adjust the bill and remove it. but as a tech said “you have a spare”
  • Overall: Very good, did their best to accommodate me during a busy season. Labor was largely on electrical troubleshooting

Appliances & Amenities

• Countertop Microwave $79 Emerson 700 watt .7 cubic feet, warms up ccold coffee and pops popcorn – https://amzn.to/4khqtoO
  • Pros: cheap and easy way to warm up stuff when I have 110v ac
  • Cons: will update as I go but zip tied to the counter rail this looks ideal

Air conditioner – replaced the Ultra Kool that was giving warm air with a GE 6000 btu unit that also blows warm air. Not sure what solution will work but not a fan of a hot trailer.

Shower and toilet combo; still deciding if I want to add a shower to the commode room. Found a pan that may work https://a.co/d/iJijYe2 for $189 but would need to be trimmed for width. Floor measurements 24 x 34 inches.

Remote Working

• Wireless Internet – PENDING
• AmI Computer Workstation $399 with Pros: gorgeous 18 inch display, 16 gb Ram.
• Cons: Flimsy keyboard, lack of USB -C ports, but is a fantastic streaming tv and surprisingly fast. https://amzn.to/46lWh8K
• Printer – $649 Epson Eco tank. I have used hundreds of printers and scanners in my career, and this is the most economical with excellent color glossy photo printing. Decent low volume scanner, still happy with large ink tanks. https://amzn.to/46iMVKS
