Off and running after several months outfitting my new trailer, the 2025 Keystone Coleman Light 18RX. I have more solar components to install, but have upgraded the car batteries to large 100ah Gel batteries, and using a fast charger to top them up with my generator.
The KCL Campground is within sight of Soda Lake. The hills are beginning to bloom, purple, yellow, orange and green everywhere.
I seem to be the longest staying visitor, most seem to camp a night, do some hiking, and then move on. Cool vibe, considerate campers.
One fellow Phil says he has been coming here for 50 years, has seen snow blanket everything as far as the eye can see, roughed it with roasting summer heat, and attacked by fogs of carnivorous insects. But this week its perfection.
