My nephew Edison really cranked out the upgrades on the old 1984 Scamp 16 trailer. He’s installed new power supply and huge lithium battery. He’s got the roof air conditioner installed, the hot water tank installed with control panel, the PEX replacement for the water to sink, to the toilet and outdoor shower, both hot and cold lines. The dual propane tank mount and switchover are in place. He’s got some finishing stuff to do, a battery monitor system on the way. A pigtail for the battery charging. So it looks like I can get my self started on my outfitting the camper for a month or so long inaugural trip.
I began by purging my closet filled with clothes, 9 bags of suits, jackets, dress shirts and pants were donated to the thrift store. It’s a relief really. I kept the cold weather stuff. Still will need to pare down when I decide how I’m storing stuff in the Scamp and SUV.
Got Craigslist ads for the tools, video lighting, stands, gear. Will try for a garage sale next week to get rid of some stuff, household furniture, outdoor stuff.
Figure now’s as good a time as any to practice with the microphone, recording wirelessly to my Samsung S22 Ultra Android. I have a second clip on mic to use for recording ambient stuff or second interview. I am hoping this talks to the state of things.
More updates once I catch up with Edison this week.
