Well, there is no shortage of humbling repairs here and thought I’d share my list.
My current fix list :
- Power cord to house converter needs replacement as it fused to cheap 15 amp adapter (update 10/3 now I need a larger cord cover since new one is too big for the old one..ordered)+
- Window leak in toilet closet..a rain deflector to be installed
- Thermostat replacement and installation in new location to offset heat buildup from power center and propane refrigerator
- Weather seal around lower part of camper door
- Need more water…not sure how but 9 gallons for sink and toilet lasts 2 days. Have 5 gal water jug but filling the camper is lifting it and pouring small amount at a time and hard on my arms
All this is compounded by having to order from Amazon and sent to my host’s home 10 miles away, much slower than I am used to. Figured while I am at it I may as well order a slim toaster..didn’t know I would miss toast that much.
