I’m happy that I was able to meet Cathy and Jeannette at the Bakersfield Art Association gallery in downtown Bakersfield. There was a beautiful display of local artists’ work, and an announcement of the November 7th art show for elder Latina artists. Some great connections made there, including the Blackboard Barber and Vintage shop, that also happens to have a wonderful venue for local bands.
